In October 2024, the College of Medicine held its Annual Meeting online.
Our Chair, Dr Michael Dixon, outlined the College’s achievements over the past twelve months, including our work in prisons, on farms and in schools, and made a rallying call to members to keep focused on the causes we champion, saying: ‘It’s time for the College of Medicine to change gear and become a real fighting force…’
Dr Dixon also announced changes to the Council and thanked those who work ‘tirelessly’ in order for The College of Medicine to prosper – including our CEO Amanda King.
Dr Dixon also acknowledged our sponsors and our Patron, King Charles III.
