Donna Kinnair DBE, RGN, HV, LLB, MA is Clinical Director, Emergency Medicine, Chelsea and Westminster Founation Trust Hospital. She was previously Chief Nurse for the NHS in South East London. She advised the Prime Minister’s Commission on the future of Nursing and Midwifery in 2010.
She served as nurse/child health assessor to the Victoria Climbié Inquiry. Dame Donna was Strategic Commissioner for Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham Health Authority’s Children’s Services. She has managed hospital and community nursing teams and worked as a child protection service manager. She is an experienced nurse tutor and has chaired working groups on several reviews into children’s services. She is consultant editor for Nursing Management.
