Dr Elizabeth Thompson, Academic Director for the Diploma for Integrative Medicine, which launched in Bristol in 2017, explains how the course is helping students develop a critical and enquiring approach to a variety of therapeutic interventions:
The Diploma Development Team were delighted to welcome eight doctors and one nurse to the first year of the new Diploma for Integrative Medicine in Bristol.

It’s apparent, from talking to this first cohort, what a clear need the diploma is meeting.
The students highlighted just how much their patients are
benefiting from the array of conventional, lifestyle and holistic approaches.
The Diploma is a blended learning course with face-to-face and online learning with those taking it able to fit study around a busy life.
Most weeks include an online tutorial from an expert in the field of Integrative Medicine and students have been submitting assignments reflecting a fantastic
grasp of holistic consulting in their everyday clinical practice.”
