College of Medicine joins campaign to help aspiring doctors during lock-down

The College of Medicine is proud to be a partner in the Pre-Medicus Campaign, a new online resource that aims to help doctors of the future access vital information during lock-down.

Alongside the NHS Social Prescribing Champion Scheme and the Unofficial Guide to Medicine, the College is supporting the free initiative that reaches out to students interested in a career in medicine.

Why Medicine? 28th April
Launched last month, the Pre-Medicus Campaign aims to help young people considering a career in Medicine to access vital educational resources during the pandemic

At a time when schools, universities, and institutions around the world are closing down during the COVID-19 pandemic, the participation campaign hopes to empower and educate secondary school students and university graduates who are aspiring to be doctors.

The lock-down campaign includes daily social media posts highlighting top tips for #FutureDoctors. And we’ve joined forces with world-renowned doctors, academics, and medical students, who are delivering weekly online lectures – via Zoom – to feed your curiosity and stimulate your thinking.
