“What are the most effective ways of improving the health of our population?” – discussion with Duncan Selbie (Chief Executive Officer, Public Health England) – this will be preceded by an appreciation of the life of Professor Aidan Halligan by Michael Dixon and Duncan Selbie.
The event will explore whether we should direct our energies through central initiatives, clinical commissioners and health and wellbeing boards, local authorities or primary care and what role local communities can play in the healthcare agenda.
